About the Filmmaker
Alex Browning is a British African-Caribbean director and writer based in the UK.
A British-Kittitian native of Bedfordshire, England, Alex grew up between one of the most multi-cultural towns in the UK, and the forests, fields, and farmland of the regional countryside. It is this rich and diverse lens that has coloured his work to date.
Alex’s genre-bending short film DAYLIGHT RULES starring T’Nia Miller (AppleTV+’s FOUNDATION) and David Ajala (STAR TREK: DISCOVERY), commissioned by Sky Studios and BFI, is touring film festivals worldwide before a broadcast television premiere on Sky.
Alex’s stories and visual tapestry are anchored by element and nature, existing as meditations on the the intersections of faith, spirituality and power
