At a discreet host bar in Los Angeles, Kyeong uses his talent and charm to create the illusion of love for the women who hire him. When a new client pays him for a “2nd round,” Kyeong discovers too late that behind her kindly demeanor lies a disturbing request.

FILMMAKER

Grant Hyun is a filmmaker from Los Angeles and a thesis student at NYU’s Grad Film program.He grew up watching his father work on set as a still photographer where he fell in love with the process of filmmaking. He has a B.A. in American Studies from Colby College and worked onGary Ross’ Civil War/Reconstruction film, The Free State of Jones, before beginning at NYU.Third generation Korean American, Hyun is currently developing his first feature based on trues tories from Koreatown, Los Angeles in the late 2000’s.
