DAY 1

TIDEFF's Opening Night commenced with speeches from Founder, Julie Young, Director of Programming, Karen McMullen, DreamMaker Board Chair, Asmeret Berhe-Lumax, and special celebrity guest, Sofia Chang. The evening showcased a block of short films followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers, moderated by Ms. McMullen. The night ended with delectable food and beverages generously provided by Mokbar, BaoHaus, Mai Vino, Asahi, Boxed Water, and Gold Coast.

DAY 2

The second day began with a filmmaker-exclusive workshop on best tips and tricks to receive funding for films hosted by Mazars. Multiple film screenings and a panel on the "Impact of Diversity Initiatives" followed. The feature film presentation, Seneca, and Q&A with the filmmakers wrapped up the first full day. Filmmakers, team, friends and family assembled for a post-screening reception.

DAY 3

TIDEFF's signature speed mentorship workshop for selected filmmakers kicked-off the final day. Throughout the day, several short and feature films screened alongside a panel on "Inside Programming Film Festivals" with expert programmers from top festivals. The TIDEFF19 award ceremony launched Closing Night. A screening of the powerful documentary, The Apollo, directed by Academy Award winning Roger Ross Williams was followed by a Q&A and wrap party.
